Feedback for Upcoming Multi-touch Tablet PC
Touch screen capability is relatively unknown in today’s Smartphone and Tablet PC use, but it still lacks a common trait – a tangible response to at least let users feel as when writing it. For example, some want to get tactile feedback similar to how exactly to my bookmarks to specific keys, especially for those hard to get used to the keyboard and intend to go to the software keyboard on the device. Just recently, Apple Inc. filed a patent innovative idea that features the ability to dynamically change the surface to provide tactile feedback to the individual keystrokes on the touchscreen display with multi-touch capabilities
The touchscreen will be embedded with”articulating frame”that can define the main edge and finally give tactile feedback based on the key areas. These key areas are equipped with physical pixels that border and would appear when the touch screen device is used to write. And when it is switched on pointing mode, the features disappear and change to a smooth surface without changing the way the device has been used in normal mode. It is not up, the hardware can also be configured to have a concave depression just like typical mechanical key Caps on surface.No exact date on when it will be available yet, but the technology is believed to be enforced in the upcoming tablet PC device so that makes it to sell additional value contributes to greater user experience with the current Multi-touch capabilities
